Agliano is known for its renowned salty-magnesium thermal springs, from which water flows at a temperature of 13 ° C, effective for diseases of the digestive system, liver, and biliary tract and, if inhaled, for the respiratory tract.

Agliano Terme is part of the site “The Vineyard Landscapes of Piedmont: Langhe-Roero and Monferrato”, registered in the UNESCO World Heritage List, which develops along gentle hills covered by vineyards as far as the eye can see, interspersed with small hilltop villages and valuable medieval castles, where for centuries viticulture has been the fulcrum of economic and social life.

From Agliano Terme, in less than twenty minutes you can reach Alba, the “capital of the Langhe”, with its picturesque old town, the suggestive late-Gothic cathedral, its medieval streets with the characteristic tower-houses. In Alba you can taste excellent wines and, every year, from the first to the third Sunday of October, the famous Truffle Fair takes place.
